How to Plan Q4 With Support

Are you planning Q4 the same way you planned Q1?
If you’ve got support now — or you’re about to bring someone in — that’s the wrong way to do it.
Most Q4 planning advice sounds the same: set your goals, break them into weeks, review what worked, repeat. All fine advice. Except it assumes you’re doing everything yourself.
If you’re not, the question isn’t just “what do I want to accomplish?” It’s “what do I hand off, and what do I actually protect for myself?” That second question changes everything about how the quarter gets built.
Q4 with support isn’t Q4 with a helper attached
It’s a different structure. When the right things come off your plate, your best hours go to the work that actually needs you — not whatever’s left after everything else.
But that only happens if you’re intentional about what goes where. Hand things off without that clarity, and you’re not saving time. You’re just managing the chaos from a different seat.
This starts before the quarter does
Knowing what’s actually yours to carry — and what’s just been yours by default — is the work. Most business owners have never mapped it out. They’ve just held everything because there was no one to hand it to.
Now there is. So what actually changes?
That’s worth figuring out before October gets here, not after. Where to start If you’re not sure what’s yours and what isn’t, the Delegation Clarity Workbook walks you through it — a clear picture of where your time’s actually going, what needs you, and where support would help most.
That’s the foundation Q4 planning actually needs.
